学校向けシリーズ[For Universities] Information Security Fundamentals in the Age of AI and Cloud Computing
This course is designed for faculty and staff at universities and other educational institutions.
Universities handle a wide range of important information assets, including personal information of students and employees, research data, and confidential information related to collaborative research. If such information is leaked or systems are compromised through unauthorized access, it can not only damage the institution's reputation but also have a significant impact on its educational and research activities.
In this course, learners will explore fundamental information security concepts, precautions when using information systems, the secure handling of information off campus, and appropriate responses to information security incidents. These topics are presented through practical scenarios that may occur in a university environment.
As the use of AI and cloud services continues to expand, it is increasingly important for every faculty and staff member to make appropriate decisions and take responsible actions. This course provides the knowledge needed to protect the personal information of students and employees and to help create a secure environment that supports education and research activities.
This course consists of the following components:
1. Lessons—Learn about information security through five chapters.
2. Final Assessment—Evaluate your understanding of the course content.

本講座は、AI・クラウド時代の大学運営に求められる情報セキュリティの基礎を学ぶ講座です。
大学では、学生・教職員の個人情報をはじめ、研究データ、共同研究に関する機密情報など、多様で重要な情報資産を取り扱っています。これらの情報が漏えいしたり、不正アクセスによる被害を受けたりすると、大学の社会的信用の低下だけでなく、教育・研究活動そのものに大きな影響を及ぼすおそれがあります。
本講座では、情報セキュリティの基本的な考え方から、情報システム利用時の注意点、学外での安全な情報の取り扱い、情報漏えい発生時の対応までを、大学で起こり得る身近な事例を通して学びます。
AIやクラウドサービスを活用する機会が増える中で、教職員一人ひとりが適切な判断と行動をとるために必要な知識を身につけ、学生・教職員の個人情報を守り、教育・研究活動を支える安全な環境づくりにつなげます。
この講座では、以下の流れで学習を進めます。
1. Lesson学習・・・情報セキュリティについて、5つの章に分けて学習します。
2. 総合テスト・・・学習の習熟度を確認します。
本講座の受講対象者は、大学や専門学校の教職員です。

動画を通して「気づき」を促す学習設計
身近な事例を自分事として捉え、
情報セキュリティへの意識を高める
大学で起こり得る情報セキュリティ上の問題をアニメーション動画で描き、主人公の失敗や迷いを追いながら、「どこに危険があったのか」「自分ならどう行動するか」を考えます。知識や正解を学ぶ前に、日常の何気ない行動に潜むリスクに自ら気づくことで、情報セキュリティを身近な問題として捉えられます。学習内容を自分自身の業務や行動と照らし合わせながら、普段の情報の扱い方を見直し、適切な行動へつなげる意識を養います。
大学で起こり得るリスクを具体的に学習
ルールを暗記するのではなく、
状況に応じて判断する力を養う
不審なメールやWebサイトへの対応、大学・学校外への情報の持ち出し、端末の暗号化、情報の保管・廃棄など、大学の日常業務で起こり得る具体的な場面を取り上げます。「してはいけないこと」を覚えるだけではなく、取り扱う情報の重要性や大学のルール、周囲への影響を踏まえ、なぜその対応が必要なのかを学習します。状況を整理して自ら適切な行動を選ぶ、実践的な判断力を身に付けられます。

情報セキュリティの基本から、情報システムの安全な利用、学外での情報の取り扱い、情報の保管・管理・廃棄、情報漏えい発生時の対応までを5章にわたって学びます。AIやクラウドサービスの活用が広がる大学の教育・研究環境において、学生・教職員の個人情報や研究データを適切に守るための考え方を習得できます。事故を未然に防ぐ対策に加え、不正ログインなどが発生した場合の報告や初動対応まで学べる講座です。
